Product Management Framework Will Increase Your Profit

By James Baker

Contemporary life is a web of activities that bring people out of beds and onto vehicles to go to work in offices and plants the produce consumer commodities. Millions of people are employed all over the world in various industries. Factory equipment hums day and night to meet production schedules and deliveries. This all becomes easy if one applies product management framework.

Modern housing units are found in residential areas assigned by government for residential purposes. Homeowners flock here after working in jobs every day. The abode is home to a family that eats together and share experiences. Occupants may vary but almost all are consumers of products manufactured in plants located in industrial zones.

The marketplace is a sector were people congregate to acquire items that are need by the family. Food, toiletries, toys. The wet market is where fish and vegetables abound and is a haven for chefs and cooks. Grocers display goods for sale. People do the buying and selling here in what is known as the commercial estate.

The manufacturing zone is the land where manufacturing facilities are set up. An assembly line of varying types and lengths is ever present as are machines and equipment that cannot run with the labor force to operate it. Consumer goods emanate from this place and picked up by trucks for delivery.

Raw materials are needed to make consumer goods. These often come from nature as raw and unprocessed. It becomes an input in the process of manufacturing an item in whatever form it could be and in large quantities. This is true regardless of whether it is a mineral ore or a plant or animal part.

The main beneficiary of people activity is the economy. The bigger the economy, the better it will benefit the population. The faster it grows the more funds become available to government through taxation. The more taxes the government collects, the more infrastructure projects are implemented. In the end the people get better public service and facilities.

Emerging new technologies make processes more reliable and efficient. Downtime is anathema to production managers as it will increase the cost. Delay in production means less end product coming off the assembly lines. Sound maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory is practiced along with automation and computerization.

Industrial pollution is one of the many challenges that manufacturers have to address. Industrial waste disposal is become a big headache for heads of states especially those that use toxic chemicals. Wasted chemicals affect the health of the land as it flows through water systems and even penetrate water table deep beneath the ground.

What good will it benefits a man to have huge profit if in the end it dies because of food contamination. Arsenic and lead as well as other harmful chemicals have been dumped in river systems and the ocean for years causing harm to the creatures that live in it. Industrial wastes have killed ecosystems in the past and present. Preserving the natural equilibrium is the concern of everybody.
